Il Peloton racing team did really well at the 2009 Chicagoland racing tour.
Sarah Hopkin finished first overall Pro women and Benoit Letourneau was third overall of the Pro master.
Benoit Letoruneau is currently in third position of the NROC series with 120pts. With two races to go this summer, the chances that Benoit moves up are really good. Stay tune... |

Sergio Almeralla and Benoît Létourneau respectively finished 2nd et 3rd at the annual Canada Day marathon. Sarah Hopkins was the second Senior World Class women to cros the finish line.

Congratulations to Benoit Létourneau who lead his team "Rapid Lap Dogs III" to victory at the 24 hour Roller Montréal with a new team total distance of 794.88km. |

The 2009 Ontario Inline Speed Skating Championships were held at the CITC, the only banked track in Canada. Sarah Hopkins had a dream weekend: she finished first overall in the Women World Class all distances and despite windy conditions, She broke two Canadian records: the 15km elimination race and the relay race. Benoît Létourneau finished third overall in the men Senior World Class for long distance races.

On May 19th, Sarah Hopkins finished second women overall at the Marathon Roller de Montréal and Sergio Almeralla finished third less than a second behind the second position. Benoît Létourneau finished first among master skaters. |

The 2009 Il Peloton/Atom Wheels Racing Team
As part of our commitment to the speedskating community, for 2009 Il Peloton has partnered with Atom Wheels to create a 2009 Race Team. We’ve sponsored 5 of Canada’s most promising inline skaters, you can read about our athletes on our bios page as well as check back here for updates on their accomplishments during the year. Look out for them at your local race and on online news stories; they will be sporting the raging green-and-black Skeleton Reloaded uniforms that identify them as part of the team. Sergio Almeralla won the first race of the season for the 2009 Il Peloton Race Team, a 10k pack race on track in Toronto (Canada) at the first RSO points series on a cold May 10th 2009. Sergio managed to finish second overall for the event. |
