Roller Montreal Marathon swarmed by an Il Peloton Skeletons army!

Deathly cold weather at last week's Roller Montreal Marathon last weekend did not chill the bones of those racers lucky enough to be wearing an Il Peloton reloaded skinsuit. The finish was awash in a sea of green, with 4 of the top 5 finishers crossing the finishline in the Il Peloton signature black and green suit.
Olympic gold medallist Olivier Jean took control of the race early on and crossed the finishline alone. Sergio Almeralla left the pack late to catch Steve Robillard and chase down a gutsy break made by Speedskateworld's Peter Doucet. Steve clawed himself a second-place finish just short of the line while Sergio Almeralla settled for 4th. Benoit Letourneau had a very impressive 5th place finish. Congratulations to all the brave souls who skated strong and hard in the cold, sleet and wind.

Skate Mexico 2010 will take place between March 20th and 27th inclusively. We are still in the planning stages but we have now secured permission to use the track in beautiful Playa del Carmen. The schedule will consist of daily training sessions on the 250m bank track and plyometric sessions on the powdery white sand beach. After a scheduled siesta of course! To register please click here.
With its famous Quinta Avenida, a pedestrian street lined with leafy cafes and upscale restaurants and its aquamarine caribbean sea, we think Playa is the perfect backdrop for Skate Mexico 2010.
We have a number of things to finalize, including coaching and possibly a 42k marathon.

Now that our monumentally successful Il Peloton/Atom Wheels Racing Team has retired for the season (story to follow), we are releasing the Skeleton Reloaded skinsuit. They are available in a short sleeve or long sleeve version, and the limited production run means supplies are only here while they last. We also have a small selection of matching warmup suits. Our customers have been green with envy asking us about these super hot suits all season long, so don’t wait too long to order one or you may be mortified to find them all gone.

The Answer One wheels are coming! The first Answer wheels to be released, the Answer One 100mm, 84A and 86A will be available at Il Peloton on August 21st.
Made with a high perfomance urethane wheel, the Answer's new Sonic-welded one piece hub is designed to eliminate bearing seating, cracking, creaking and hub separation problems.
We expect to receive the 110mm arriving after the 2008 World Championships.
We will be testing them as soon as they come in and will post our feedback on the website, so stay tuned!
